Senior Business Analyst

• Analysis of both highlevel and granular (category and/or product specific) business trends.

• Conduct database analysis using SQL Excel and other tools.

• Structure and refine analysis with the goal of distilling insights from the data.

• Analyze and monitor the business impact of newlylaunched features.

• Design product/ feature reports and work crossfunctionally to implement them.

• Build out a fact base through deep and innovative analysis of a large and rich dataset.

• Interact with key stakeholders and the team to obtain and document functional and nonfunctional needs.
  

Requirements

• Experience in Business Analytics

• Strong SQL experience is a must as is experience in Excel.

• Experience in automation and data wrangling in Python / R

• Expertise in BI tools like Tableau/Power Bi based visualization.

• Experience with data extraction manipulation and synthesizing in a report

• Hold on to the statistical techniques of data analysis.

• Strong analytical problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities

• Ability to take initiatives and drive work

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with people at all levels of the organization.

• Exposure to Ecommerce data will be a plus.

Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within the retail industry. Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. Expertise in building and maintaining interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI. Working knowledge of Python for basic data manipulation and analysis tasks. Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor insights for diverse audiences. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A passion for retail and a strong understanding of key retail metrics. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
