You bring the following educational background, experience and capabilities:
- You hold a Bachelor degree, preferably in International Relations, Politics or History from a top tier university
- You possess a Postgraduate degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Communications, Journalism or International Development a plus
- You have 7 to 10 years of corporate/public affairs experience in the biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry in the Middle East region
- You have proven leadership experience in non-hierarchical environment and ability to lead without authority
- You are experienced in leading multi-stakeholder engagement and advocacy
- You are skilled in cross-functional project management, including managing external agencies and budgets
- You have Issues and crisis management experience
- You have a deep understanding of the overall business and its markets
- You are able to build a motivated, empowered and networked team that challenges the status quo, explores new ways of doing things and radically simplifies
- You are capable of driving change with proven ability to influence business leaders and Communications professionals to achieve desired outcomes
- You are a strong leader, strategic thinker, communicator and influencer, who is able to:
- Articulate a strong vision for the future of healthcare
- Understand political decision making and complex networks of influence
- Thrive in our rapidly changing political environment, charting a successful course for Roche
- Collaborate and build networks both within and beyond Roche
- Coach others across the network
- Challenge assumptions at every level
- You are fluent in English and Arabic knowledge would be an advantage
