Junior eCommerce Analyst at firstmovr a USbased ecommerce accelerator a satellite Center of Excellence (COE) for eCommerce education and change management (remote).
firstmovr helps companies in CPG/FMCG sector adapt and transform ecommerce operations while keeping abreast of fastmoving digital trends via virtual eCommerce summits custom education programs and strategic advisory consulting.

The founders of the company Oskar Kaszubski & Chris Perry.
Oskar is a global eCommerce leader and consultant with 16 years of experience leading digital transformation for global midsize and startup organizations including Kelloggs Mondelez KimberlyClark and other Fortune 500 companies.
Chris is the generator on a mission to empower Leaders of Change to win in digital commerce and beyond. As a CPG eCommerce practitioner and advisor he has led the eCommerce strategy capabilities activation and education at RB WellPet Kelloggs and other top CPGs.
What will you do
As a Junior eCommerce Database Content Manager at firstmovr your responsibilities would include:
Working with Excel and Google Sheets to analyze and manipulate data tables creating custom formulas for colorcoding and conditional formatting of data tables.
Writing formulas including SQL queries to extract relevant data from the companys databases.
Optimizing the companys loyalty program (3000 participants) by analyzing customer registration data tracking event attendance and identifying patterns and trends updating customer information in tables and databases in realtime including changes to email addresses or other personal details.
Maintaining customer projects and ecommerce sites providing data analysis and insights as needed. Projects you can be placed on will include analysing financial metrics and building prognosis assessing category data and KPIs analysing customer data and building out an internal CRM system.
Staying uptodate with the latest data analysis tools and techniques and making recommendations for improving the companys data management processes.
Working hours:
You should be prepared to work some time in the European morning (for example from 9 am to 12 pm CET) to do some editing based on comments from firstmovrs founder. You should also be available some time in the European evening (for example from 5 pm CET). The founder may occasionally require tasks to be completed on short notice even during European night hours with the usual expectation for sameday completion. Flexibility and readiness to work at any time even unpredictably are essential for this role.
Requirements:
Fluent English youll constantly communicate with native English speakers in the US so we dont want to see or hear any mistakes.
Excellent attention to detail you are used to doublechecking everything and can quickly notice the slightest mistake. This skill is the most important requirement for this position since the whole role is about reviewing information and databases for accuracy.
Proficiency in Excel & Google Sheets you will be working in them every day and you can easily work with formulas and numbers.
Proficiency in SQL you are able to code to extract relevant data from the companys databases.
Complete Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Finance Economics or a related field. For this vacancy we dont have a chance to consider students since we need a full commitment because of the very important clients and projects that is why well only consider graduates who do not have any studies in their lives now.
12 years of experience in analytics/data science are preferred.
Great communication skills you are easy to communicate with you are not afraid to ask questions.
Structured thinking you can structurize and describe the business processes and data models.
Strong selfreliance and the ability to create solutions and make decisions on your own with the minimum required confirmations.
Be a proactive team player whos not afraid to speak up for your own opinion seriously the company is looking for a person with many ideas not just an executor.
Organizing skills you know exactly how to organize your work and personal time and dont want any minute to go to waste.
Goal & detailoriented you can easily adapt to a fastchanging environment without losing your goals and targets.
