Tasks

Model Development:

• Design and implement visionlanguage models for various process automation tasks.

• Develop algorithms that integrate visual data with natural language processing to create cohesive models.

• Experiment with stateoftheart architectures and techniques to enhance model performance.

Data Management:

• Collect preprocess and annotate large datasets consisting of both visual and textual information.

• Implement data augmentation and synthetic data generation techniques to improve model robustness.

• Ensure data quality and consistency across different training and evaluation sets.

Training and Optimization:

• Train visionlanguage models on diverse datasets using highperformance computing resources.

• Optimize model parameters and architectures for efficiency accuracy and scalability.

• Utilize techniques such as transfer learning and finetuning to adapt models to specific use cases.

Evaluation and Validation

• Develop evaluation metrics and benchmarks to assess model performance.

• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of models on various tasks and datasets.

• Analyze model outputs and diagnose issues to iteratively improve model performance.

Research and Innovation:

• Stay uptodate with the latest research and advancements in visionlanguage modeling machine learning and artificial intelligence.

• Explore and propose new ideas methodologies and technologies to push the boundaries of what is possible in process automation.

• Publish research findings and contribute to the academic and industrial AI community.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Document model architectures training procedures and evaluation results comprehensively.

• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate progress and findings to stakeholders.

• Maintain thorough documentation of code experiments and data management practices.

Requirements

Educational Background:

• A Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python with experience in relevant libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow PyTorch Keras and OpenCV.

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms deep learning techniques and natural language processing.

• Experience in developing and training visionlanguage models including knowledge of architectures like transformers CNNs and RNNs.

• Familiarity with data management practices including data preprocessing augmentation and annotation.

Experience:

• Proven experience in designing implementing and optimizing machine learning models particularly those integrating vision and language.

• Handson experience with largescale datasets and highperformance computing environments.

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and validate model performance using appropriate metrics and benchmarks.

• Previous experience in a research or industry setting preferably with a focus on process automation or similar applications.

Analytical and ProblemSolving Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address technical challenges and improve model performance.

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to model training and deployment.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and present technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

• Experience in working within collaborative environments participating in code reviews and contributing to team discussions.

Research and Innovation:

• A strong research background with a track record of publications in relevant conferences or journals is highly desirable.

• Ability to stay uptodate with the latest advancements in the field and apply innovative approaches to problemsolving.

Project Management:

• Experience in managing project timelines resources and deliverables to ensure successful completion of tasks.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects while also contributing to team efforts.

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computer vision techniques including image processing object detection and segmentation.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Google Cloud Azure) and their machine learning services.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborative development tools.
