As a Junior/Medior Freight Forwarder you help ensure that goods are transported safely efficiently and costeffectively. You work with companies importers and exporters and support the logistics for transporting goods from A to B. You work independently and as part of a team receiving guidance from senior colleagues to stimulate and support your professional development.

This is how you tackle your day. You:

• handle interactions with existing and new customers qualify monitor and delegate orders for execution;
• collaborate with internal teams to manage customer portfolios and implement improvements;
• support the onboarding process for new customers in collaboration with Key Account Managers and operations;
• contribute to customer satisfaction by providing proactive advice and support;
• monitor internal data and customer KPIs offering solutions for continuous improvement;
• ensure all transport activities comply with laws and regulations (Compliance Management);
• assist in identifying and mitigating potential risks in the supply chain (Risk Management);
• ensure administrative processes run efficiently and controlled contributing to overall success;
• build and maintain customer relationships to foster beneficial partnerships for both WCSG and customer growth;
• manage costs by understanding cost structures and negotiating favorable rates and terms.

Profile

• Available 32/40 hours per week;
• Good organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize;
• Customeroriented andproblemsolving;
• Basic knowledge of relevant laws regulations and compliance;
• Confident and able to stand your ground when needed;
• Thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment adept at quick adaptation;
• MBO starter or a few years of experience preferably in transport and logistics;
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
