Our client is looking to hire a skilled Structural Engineer/Technologist who will be responsible for the planning design monitoring and reporting of various infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Attending project briefs with clients and assisting in the preparation of project specifications.
- Assisting in the preparation of feasibility studies and technical reports.
- Preparing designs and drawings.
- Liaising with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Arranging and coordinating all required project meetings preparing minutes and progress reports.
- Monitoring and advising contractors and resident engineers onsite
Requirements
BEng BSc or BTech degree in Civil Engineering (Structural).
Professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist.
Minimum of 10 years of working experience including at least 5 years of postregistration experience in Structural Engineering (planning design monitoring and reporting).
Creative mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and project success.
Indepth knowledge of relevant rules regulations and quality standards with the ability to provide effective client advice.
Proficiency in project management.
Strong report writing skills.
