AC Technician

An AC Technician will support the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations such that safety, security, conversation, and compliance are ensured at the highest levels. What will I be doing? • To fully understand the principles of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and apply them in practice. • To regularly inspect air conditioning compressor units and effect maintenance and repairs as necessary. • To maintain charging equipment, refrigeration test equipment and A/C tools in good condition. • To ensure cleanliness of work areas and protection of the surrounding area when executing jobs. • To understand control principles of all A/C systems and regularly test, repair and calibrate. • To verify building area temperatures and adjust as necessary and record on the plant log sheet. • To complete major and minor services on A/C, Refrigeration equipment as assigned and return the completed job sheets to the Engineering Office. • To learn and carry out fire brigade duties when assigned. • To complete the personal daily job record, time book accurately and keep ready for inspection. • To fully comprehend the building automation system operation, alarm and functionality. • To trouble shoot & repair A/C systems when necessary. • To participate in new equipment installation projects. • To cross train in the fields of plumbing and plant mechanics. • To response immediately to guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction. .

To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned and should be multi-tasking. .
