Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SOC Admin to join our team and help us maintain the security of our clients systems. The Senior SOC Admin will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents analyzing security logs and implementing security best practices to protect our clients data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents in a timely manner

Analyze security logs and identify potential security threats

Implement security best practices and procedures to protect systems and data

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

Collaborate with other teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes

Create and maintain documentation for security procedures and protocols

Stay uptodate with the latest security trends and technologies

Train and mentor junior SOC admins

Participate in oncall rotation for afterhours security incidents

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a SOC or securityrelated role

Strong knowledge of security principles protocols and technologies

Experience with security tools such as SIEM IDS/IPS and endpoint protection

Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools

Knowledge of network and system security including firewalls VPNs and encryption

Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment

Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or GIAC are a plus
