Competative Salary: £55000 £70000
Schedule: MondayFriday with occasional weekend availability Location: West Sussex Bognor Regis We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Nursing Home Manager to lead a 38bed home and oversee a team of 45 staff members.
The role involves collaborating closely with the local community GPs and other professionals to provide highquality care. Our care philosophy centres on Wellness Happiness and Kindness offering nursing residential and dementia care. You will have full support from a Clinical Lead and a dedicated nursing team.
As the Registered Manager you will oversee the daily operations of the nursing home ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Your goal is to deliver the best quality of care maintain or improve the home’s CQC rating and meet the company’s KPI targets.
Key Responsibilities: - Hold meetings and handle referrals and notifications
- Ensure personcentred care plans are reviewed monthly
- Conduct regular safety checks
- Identify and address key areas of improvement
- Maintain KPIs at a green standard
- Engage in audits to achieve at least a good rating
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage recruitment to fill vacancies
- Foster good internal and external relationships
- Be approachable and reflect the company’s values
- Organise and document staff meetings
- Support service users in achieving their goals through positive risktaking
- Participate in training and keep up to date with current industry trends
- Promote career development for all staff
- Ensure full inductions are carried out for new staff
- Work with placement teams to manage vacancies and assess prospective residents
- Attend regular management meetings with the Operations Manager and complete assigned tasks timely
- Address team members' performance issues as needed
