Transportation Project Manager

Midwest multidisciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Project Manager to their Houston team!

• Supervise/oversee transportation projects
  
• Lead a variety of projects/studies (roadway underground utility drainage traffic and infrastructure improvements)
  
• Build/maintain municipal client relationships
  
• Assist with developing new transportation project business including proposal/contract preparation project staffing and project interviews
  
• Manage local/Federal Aid projects for a variety of clients (local agencies DOT and/or Counties)
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  
• Assist with staffing/hiring needs
  
• Develop design/quality control standards
  

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
  
• 5 years of relevant work experience
  
• 2 years of project management experience
  
• PE License or ability to obtain within six months of hire
  
• Roadway/infrastructure design experience using TXDOT and County design criteria
  
• Experience working with municipalities and county staff
  
• May require occasional travel to job sites client meetings and evening functions
  
• Experience with Microstation/Geopak preferred
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
