What is a CVOR nurse

A cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) nurse provides nursing care that involves surgical services / operating rooms (OR) and specialized areas that treat openheart (cardiovascular) patients.

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire

National Provider BLS American Heart Association upon hire

1 year Nursing experience in OR

Preferred Qualifications:

National Certification in area of specialty is preferred upon hire unless otherwise indicated.

SCREENING QUESTIONS:

Do you have at least 1 year experience in an OR environment as a RN (clinical rotation in school and residency program do not count. This is an experienced RN role in OR)

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

1 experience in Operating Room not counting residency clinical hours or school time.
