Senior Superintendent - Traveling

Safety Champion:

• Foster a strong safety culture by leading by example and advocating for an injuryfree environment.
  
• Investigate safety incidents implement corrective actions and provide retraining as needed.
  

Project Management:

• Oversee all aspects of project safety subcontractor management and workflow organization.
  
• Conduct regular safety meetings with staff and subcontractors.
  
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans including logistics procedures quality control and scheduling.
  
• Ensure compliance with all project specifications and contracts.
  
• Manage critical project paths expediting materials and equipment for ontime delivery.
  
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors suppliers labor and materials.
  
• Secure all necessary permits and collaborate with subcontractors on obtaining theirs.
  
• Facilitate inspections by relevant agencies.
  
• Manage labor relations on the project.
  
• Maintain effective communication with architects and engineers.
  
• Interpret plans and generate wellsupported Requests for Information (RFIs) to ensure project progress.
  

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of building construction experience required for Senior Superintendent.
  

Knowledge and Skills:

• Indepth understanding of construction documents drawings specifications methods and materials (general and subcontract).
  
• Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting principles.
  
• Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  
• Strong leadership management and interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
  
• Experience with renovation/tenant improvement of commercial spaces (offices warehouses retail) and hospitality is a plus.
  

• Traveling to work sites throughout the United States preferably lives in Central Florida
