• You will provide technical expertise and support to Delivery Teams creating a culture of ownership promoting roles and responsibilities.

Youll be responsible:

• Play a key role in the performance of all operations from a commercial and financial perspective.

• Monitoring financial performance financial analysis (including trend analysis) and preparing project performance reports and recommendations for the executive team.

• Supervising the implementation of and adherence to the commercial management plan subcontract management plant and project risk management plan.

• Monitoring reviewing and keeping relevant parties informed on the timeliness cost revenue risk progress and performance of the project.

• Liaising with the construction team to ensure commercial processes and operations are as effective efficient and transparent as possible.

• Play a key role in the procurement and commercial structure/framework for the project.

• Monitoring the subcontractor and supply agreement process.

• Monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures in relation to legal financial and administration matters the standard of internal control and policies.

• Setting direction and providing clear and timely feedback to direct reports on their performance.

• Manages & provides leadership to a team of Managers and Professionals ensuring the principles structures tools / capabilities and responsibilities are in place to deliver area plans and deliver excellence.

• Addresses subcontractor contractual claims and change.

• Produces monthly client application.

• Approves invoices and issues IPC.

• Drafts necessary technical and contractual corresponded.

• Commercially managers design consultants and specialist fees.

• Ensures site team acts with in commercial and legal procedures and agreements.

• Communicates with clients and subcontractors.

• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

Youll need to have:

• Extensive experience in commercial management.

• Leisure / Island experience preferred.

• Is familiar with the main rules of measurement.

• Has a background high value / complex project.

• Has a strong working knowledge of the FIDIC suite of construction contracts.

• Has a strong working knowledge of design & build.

• Has a strong background in contract administration.

• Creates an inclusive work environment based on trust and respect. Mentors and coaches team members to develop their careers.

• Can earn the trust and respect of colleagues.

• Has effective communication skills strong in oral and written English is essential.

• Acts with the highest standards of integrity and makes safety a priority and ensures the same for the team.

Youll also have:

• Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) from an accredited internationally recognized institution or University.

• MRICS.

• Other Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential.
