A350 Design Engineer 924

Job description

• Manage V924 3D finalisation and dressing activity from associated V92S
• Interface with Program Airbus 3D DMU Team in charge of the Electrical Installation Manufacturing Engineering FAL/MCA Stress Team and the V924 Transverse team in charge of providing the 2D draw
• Basic Stress calculation
• Launch drawings in the release process
• Ensure adherence to schedule update KPI and preparation for reviews ( TRM/PRM/CDR)
• Establish and follow V924 part list: P/N and quantity per aircraft / V924 drawing list for creation/deletion/modification linked to 3D

Define and follow a delivery schedule and V92S to be finalised/dressed following manufacturing:

1. priorities defined by 929 harness installation ranking
2. 928 installation drawings needs
3. 924 manufacturing lead time given by technological code

• Update Labtrack tool module: GRM references booking associated scheduling for 3D DRESSING phase V924 atrriattributes status Secure deliverables quality
• Manage meetings with Airbus and Labinal 3D DMU team to get the GO/NO GO before starting the 3D creation and before the 2D creation.
• Get the FINAL Go/No Go from Airbus before to assign the model to the 2D team (STEP5)
• Secure maturity of electrical routing before freezing the 924 design
• For fixation used choice of the appropriate one in line with DMU team needs
• To create the 3D models in the tool PDM Link
• In charge of managing the creation of all the 924 3D models by insuring that the redesign V924 (3D 3D dressing) from V92S follows the good practices the golden rules given by the manufacturer and applying all the AM applicable

Required Skill And Experience

• Knowledge of Aircraft Electrical Engineering ATA92 Procedures (SIDP/EIRD)
• Good knowledge of CATIA V5 DMU VPM A350 PASS SSI PDM Link SSCI SAP Zamiz iMade LabTrack Office Tools RIC CIRCE TRESTI ADB GEOSEARCH
• General Functional knowledge: PD and WD
• Signature Delegation AP1020 (preferably)
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems
• Good experience in secondary structure (ESI/MSI) design
• Knowledge of folded and machined elementary parts
• Knowledge of assembly/subassembly components
• Knowledge of Stress / Static calculation
• Good knowledge of the Airbus procedures
• Knowledge of Airbus drafting rules
• Knowledge of material & protection selection rules
• Configuration Management Airbus Documents/Procedures
• Knowledge of Manufacturing (Harness/Harness Installation)
