Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Security Specialist III. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personnel security procedures have the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and be capable of obtaining a Top Secret security clearance. You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our security operations. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Personnel Security Specialist in collecting and verifying comprehensive background information.
Monitor review and analyze security data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on security investigations and outcomes.
Maintain and update security databases to ensure current and precise information.
Conduct followup actions on securityrelated issues to ensure timely resolution.
Manually collect fingerprints and initiate personnel security investigations through eQIP.
Utilize CVS/JPAS for accessing and managing records investigations and agency adjudications.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all security protocols and procedures are strictly followed.
Provide assistance during audits and security reviews as needed.


Work Schedule
Monday to Friday between the hours of 7 AM 7 PM
40 hours (possible overtime)

Requirements

Qualifications:
Must have already have or capable of obtaining a Top Secret security clearance.
High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor s Degree (4 years experience recommended)
Minimum of 2 years experience processing and reviewing documentation for personnel security investigations.
Proficiency in collecting fingerprints manually.
Must have completed and received an eQIP certificate.
Familiarity with CVS/JPAS for records investigations and agency adjudications.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
