Design Engineer

• Coordinating planning and interacting with clients to collect input data for project.
  
• Development and issuance of Design Sections for Reinforced Earth Walls based on manual calculations.
  
• Coordinate with client/consultant to approve design and drawings assess foundations conditions check stability and analyse ground improvement for requirements and techniques suggestions.
  
• Prepare Variance Analysis Report / Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and monthly Design and Drawing Activity Sheet Report.
  
• Monitor and supervise the CAD departments activities and ensuring that drawings are generated and dispatched on time without errors.
  
• Create drawings using AUTOCAD when necessary.
  
• Prepare cost estimation by developing proposals case study and preliminary design.
  
• Monitor projects and following up on design and drawing submission regularly.
  
• Utilise on best geotechnical engineering practice to validate foundation investigation data and a site visit shall be made to reverify when needed.
  
• Assuring that selected fill soil meets the reinforced earth specifications.
  

Requirements

• A Diploma or Degree in Geotechnical Engineering / Civil Engineering / M. Tech (Geotechnical) or any related field.
  
• Possess a minimum of 34 years of working experience in Civil Engineering Design/ Reinforced Earth Wall Design / Geotechnical Engineering
  
• Deep understanding of Geotechnical Engineering and Applications
  
• Proven working knowledge with using Design Software and AutoCAD Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.
  
• Excellent communication skill planning and coordination skills effective quality checking and good time management to ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks.
