Mechanical Engineer Drafter

Drafting
Create 3D models of components and assemblies of Industrial Machineries or construction
equipment.
Proficient in 3D design tools preferably NX or Inventor or similar.
Make any necessary changes to existing models or drawings as per Engineering Change
notice/requests.
Transform initial rough product designs or sketches into working models and designs meeting
application requirements.
Utilize knowledge of various manufacturing methods engineering practices GD&T materials
and other physical sciences to complete drawings
Create Structural Sheetmetal parts assemblies weldments using engineering fundamentals.
Maintain relationships of models and drawing files in PDM systems such as Teamcenter Create
and maintain BOMs in an organized manner in ERP systems such as SAP
Create and check assembly layouts in legacy 2D or 3D softwares and convert them to NX.
2 Required Qualifications
Experience of 58 Years as a Mechanical Drafting of simple complex steel structural fabrications
Weldments Machinery parts such as Castings Forgings Sheet metal components pertaining to
Construction machineries and Industrial products.
Experience of 58 years preferably extensively in NX or Inventor or similar
Experience of 58 years in SAP Teamcenter or similar
Understanding of functional or application concepts in construction machineries or industrial
products
Understanding of Product Development processes steps involved in NPD and Sustenance
Engineering VA/VE activities.
Understanding of Manufacturing processes Testing and prototyping activities.
Understanding of Engineering Change management processes.
Have worked in MNCs with globally distributed project and product teams.
