Statement of Work Details

Provides technical experience needed to assist in studying the basic principles of plant and animal life

• Provides input on developing the approach for evaluating mechanistic data of nitro polycyclic hydrocarbons NPAHs including the methods for a literature base evaluation and critically reviewing the write up in a cancer hazard assessment monograph 4
• Provides input on readacross approaches for evaluating cancer hazards of NPAHs subclasses 5
• Provide toxicological input for the Report on Carcinogens cancer hazard evaluations especially the nitro polycyclic hydrocarbons NPAH evaluation 3
• Provides toxicological or chemistry input on other IHAB health hazard assessments and the RoC handbook

Assists with performing basic laboratory experiments and procedures

• Analyze experimental data and interpret results to write reports and summaries of findings
• Provides critical review of the RoC monograph section on animal cancer studies of nitro polycyclic hydrocarbons NPAHs 1
• Interprets study findings and may drafts short sections of the NPAH monograph 2

Prepares organizes and maintains various lab samples supplies and equipment
