The ideal candidate has 16 years of experience writing various technical instruction manuals and howto guides 16 years of experience writing design specs for complex systems and 16 years of expertise and support of MS Office and Visio.
Position Description: The role of a Technical Writer involves creating clear concise and accurate documentation that communicates complex technical information effectively to various stakeholders. The Technical Writer will collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and enhance documentation related to processes and procedures. The role will both compose new documentation and edit the work of others ensuring high standards for readability grammar and content. The key to success in this role is synthesizing complex instructions into easytofollow guidebooks instructions and general communications. The person in this position should be an expert in communications.
Position Responsibilities:
- The objective is to have clear concise and accurate documentation to ensure smooth project execution and knowledge transfer.
- Writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all relevant processes for all technical workstreams.
- Reviewing existing documentation and identifying gaps or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) developers engineers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Formatting and organizing SOPs according to organizational standards.
- Ensuring clarity accuracy and consistency across all SOPs.
- Maintenance of the technical repository and ongoing updates to documents and artifacts.
- Organization of technical content logically and coherently for stakeholders to easily access an.
- Compliance checks to ensure adherence to standards and accuracy of the information.
- Define procedures for handling changes to SOPs and other technical documentation.
Position Duties:
- Writes various technical articles reports brochures and manuals for documentation for various uses.
- Coordinates the display of graphics and the production of the document.
- Ensures content is of high quality and conforms to standards.
