Senior Gateway Engineer NV1 security clearance Canberra

Were seeking an experienced IT professional with over 12 years of experience including a minimum of five (5) years in the design management and maintenance of internet gateway and/or largescale data centre networking environments.

• Demonstrated experience and technical proficiency in the design of services utilizing F5/Blue Coat Layer 47 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
• Expertise in the design and deployment of network infrastructure including Cisco Data Centre technologies like Cisco ACI Cisco Routers Nexus switches and routing protocols such as BGP OSPF and EIGRP.
• Proven experience with and/or detailed understanding of Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions.
• Skilled in the design and implementation of VPN technologies email and DNS (Infoblox) Solutions.
• Experience in the design and integration of hybrid and public cloud services.
• Competence in the development and maintenance of system architecture and design documentation.
• Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies including the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight.
• Must be an Australian Citizen with NV1 security clearance.
• Canberra work location.
