The Food and Nutrition Department provides high quality nutrition care to our patients and guests. The Clinical Dietitian job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manages and coordinates the activities of the Food & Nutrition Services department at all locations in order to ensure quality services. This includes patient services retail services catering services and inpatient clinical services for the health system.
- Serves as subject matter expert and coordinates process improvement projects.
- Leads teams and establishes deliverables to provide innovative culinary solutions.
- Specializes in the planning management and execution of patient centered projects.
- Responsible for assisting Director with implementation of and recommendations for strategies to meet health system strategic plan and be consistent with the health systems mission vision and values.

- Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an Oklahoma State license. (Much achieve registration within the first 6 months of eligibility or hire date.) Required
- Must obtain a food handlers permit from Cleveland County Health department before hire (or within one week of hire). Required
- Six months of clinical experience in an acute care facility Preferred.
- Knowledge for use of different formulas when assessing patients nutritional needs; Completion of general and patient care orientation is required prior to providing patient care. Required
Weekend Requirements : Some weekends.
On Call Requirements : None
