Position Title: Lifecycle Specialist
Duration: 7 Months
Location: Tampa Florida 33617
Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Job Description:
- We are looking for a Lifecycle Specialist to lead overall product lifecycle processes.
- This role will involve incorporating inputs from the commercial team regarding new promotional and exiting products in collaboration with supply planning procurement and commercial teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop the work plan for new product introductions reformulations relaunches or production deletions after obtaining alignment for execution.
- Conduct early assessment and modeling of product innovations feasibility based on brand marketing insights external industry trends and business values.
- Facilitate and document discussions and communications related to all product introductions and deletions with relevant stakeholders.
- Evaluate forecast quality using trend analysis past product introduction learnings and commercial input.
- Proactively manage and evaluate the effectiveness of new product introductions providing recommendations for success measures and executional priorities.
- Lead SKU optimization process recommending product deletions considering customer and commercial inputs.
- Ensure timely flow of products for launch or reduction of inventory.
- Proactively evaluate risks in the product lifecycle process and manage within JDA process with appropriate forecast and migration of product demand needs.
- Collaborate with other planners to enable integrated planning activities and processes.
- Provide communication and direction to master data including authorized material list for all incoming and outgoing products.
- Support innovation and longrange forecast needs for promotional packaging.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of the Commercial Lifecycle process.
- Support all related lifecycle demand forecast requirements and other assigned projects.
- Present information to large groups of associates regularly.
- Foster collaboration with Customer Management Field Sales and Marketing Leadership Teams to gain alignment on forecast recommendations.
- Influence others through teamwork and positivity demonstrating cultural norms daily.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferably in Supply Chain Management Finance Operations Management or Engineering disciplines; or applicable supply chain experience.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- Five plus years of experience in Supply Chain Marketing Finance Procurement or Operations.
- Product lifecycle experience highly preferred.
- Progressive role progression and scope of responsibilities.
- Specific experience with JDA statistical modeling and demand planning.
- Ability to learn/use Company reporting sources for reliable data.
- Endtoend business understanding and business process orientation.
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to provide insights based on various data points.
- Proven crossfunctional team collaboration at all levels of the business.
