Assignment Start Date: 5/6/2024

13 weeks Nights 12 hour shift 36 hours per week guaranteed

The Inpatient Services Registered Nurse assesses and evaluates patient needs and responses to care rendered. Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions. Coordinates patient care activities based on established priorities including teaching rounding counseling and discharge planning and directs/delegates appropriately to members of the health care team. Communicates effectively and professionally with patients significant others and members of the health care team about the patients plan of care. Participates in performance improvement nursing quality and nursing research activities and utilizes same in clinical practice. Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for nursing practice and the delivery of safe competent patient care.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of previous RN experience
• Previous MedicalSurgical experience preferred

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• IA State RN License or compact is required
• Must be certified in BLS ACLS
• PALS. preferred

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: Nights Every Weekend
