Speech Language Pathologist SLP

Schedule: FullTime Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our friendly and collaborative team in an outpatient setting. This role involves working with a diverse patient population including opportunities to collaborate with specialty teams in neurology geriatrics orthopedics pediatrics sports therapy womens health vestibular/balance oncology and low vision.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Patient Evaluation and Treatment Planning:
  

  • Conduct initial evaluations for new patients.
    
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and set patientspecific goals.
    
  • Implement comprehensive patient care programs.
    

• Therapeutic Techniques:
  

  • Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitating patients with speech language hearing and swallowing disorders.
    
  • Provide highquality care for a variety of rehabilitation diagnoses.
    

• Patient Engagement:
  

  • Ensure a positive patient experience through effective engagement and progressive treatment methods.
    
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with patients and the healthcare team.
    

• EvidenceBased Practice:
  

  • Promote and apply evidencebased practices in patient care.
    

Requirements

• Licensure: Current Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida.
  
• Certification: Valid handson CPR/BLS Certification.
  
• Knowledge: Familiarity with federal and state professional requirements.
