Our important clients is currently looking for a SAPISU EDM Expert Analyst for 12 months in Brussels.
Description of the role of Key functional lead analyst at APG :
Needs analysis
Contributing to the formalisation of business requests by ensuring preliminary alignment with application standards
Understand the business needs and requirements expressed by the business and formalised in the Business Requirement Document
Challenging the requests and requirements expressed with regard to the standard functionalities and limits of the applications for which he/she is responsible in order to ensure subsequent compliance with the rules for standard use of the applications.
Functional analysis and design
Carrying out the functional analysis of new and/or existing systems on the basis of which technical analyses can be developed in accordance with applicable standards and procedures. Participate in the development and documentation of the functional architecture.
Defining the functional analysis approach and estimating its workload
Carrying out and coordinating detailed functional analyses of business needs and requirements in line with the defined architecture.
Carry out impact analyses if necessary with representatives of other applications/domains/departments concerned
Ensuring that the documents drawn up (Functional Design Document) are validated in accordance with the governance in force
Ensuring clear communication with project collaborators in order to guarantee the functional consistency of the overall solution.
Configuration and development
Define and document the configuration points of the applications for which it is responsible
Carry out the configuration as defined
Participate in the technical analysis of specific developments to be carried out providing the necessary information to the Application Developer
Validate the technical design to ensure the functional consistency of the solution
Contribute to the definition and/or adaptation of production plan jobs by providing the necessary information to the System Designer
Testing
Coordinating developing and executing test plans and test cases for system tests developing and supporting acceptance tests in order to deliver applications with the quality expected in production contributing to the establishment and documentation of the global testing approach embodied in the Master Test Plan.
Defining and documenting detailed scenarios and scripts for functional integration nonregression and performance tests
Contribute to the definition of robustness/resilience tests by providing the necessary information to the System Designer
Drawing up a test schedule in accordance with the planned stages taking into account the resources available
Ensuring that test data is available in sufficient volume and quality for the tests to run smoothly
Set up and run the tests in accordance with the defined plan
Coordinate the test team if several people are needed to meet the test schedule.
Report on the progress of tests using the tools used for this purpose
Evaluating analysing and documenting identified bugs and following up their resolution as part of the tests for which he/she is responsible but also as part of Business Acceptance Tests.
Training
Organising the necessary training for Application Support Functional Analysts and Application Developers when a new Application is introduced.
Documentation
Updating the functional reference documentation for the applications for which he/she is responsible
Validate updates to the technical reference documentation for the applications for which he/she is responsible.
Key functional lead analyst :
Ensures the overall functional coherence of the solutions implemented when they are complex and implemented by several analysts in his/her domain
Coordinates and validates the work of the functional analysts working in his/her area to ensure overall functional consistency
Checking the quality of the deliverables produced by the functional analysts working in his/her area.
Validating individual application test plans and consolidating them into a coordinated and functionally consistent overall test plan.
Coordinating the preparation of test data
Context
In order to fulfil its obligations as Distribution Network Operator client has to carry out a series of projects (smarket S/4 Hana upgrade etc.) and manage incidents/problems and evolutionary maintenance on its applications. To do this we need a SAPISU functional analyst with expertise in continuous metering. He/she will also have to manage a small subteam of 23 people. The consultant must work full time and be present 3 days a week onsite.
Requirements
Candidate should:
have a bachelors or masters degree in computing economics industry or science
Have a very good knowledge of the utilities sector
Have a good knowledge of MIGDGO or MIG6
Be fluent in FR or NL
Good knowledge of technical English
At least 10 years proven experience in SAPISU
At least 15 years proven experience in SAP
Have a minimum of 8 years experience in the submodules: SAPISU EDM.
Have worked as a functional analyst (sap consultant) in SAPISU EDM for at least 2 of the last 5 years.
Have a good knowledge of SAPISU AMI (advanced metering infrastructure) and have participated as a functional analyst (sap consultant) in one or more projects implementing the AMI/MDUS solution in SAPISU.
Good knowledge of the following submodules: SAPISU RTP billing SAPISU IDE.
Knowledge of MDG (master data generator) in SAP
Knowledge of the SAPISU IDEXGC module is a plus
Knowledge of SAPISU Device mgt modules is a plus
Knowledge of SAPISU Billing Invoicing modules is a plus
Knowledge of SAP FEH BPEM MDG (master data generator) BRF modules is a plus.
