MEP BIM COORIDNATOR

Key Responsibilities::

• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for projects outlining BIM standards processes and workflows
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards (such as LOD and COBie).
• Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination meetings to resolve clashes and conflicts in BIM models.
• Coordinate with design teams consultants and subcontractors to integrate their models into the federated BIM model.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Conduct regular reviews of BIM models to verify accuracy completeness and adherence to project standards.
• Implement QA/QC procedures to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies in BIM models
• Provide training and technical support to project team members on BIM software tools and workflows.
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies trends and best practices and share knowledge with the team.

• Identify potential risks and challenges related to BIM implementation and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations codes and standards governing BIM practices.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering Construction Management or related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit Navisworks or Bentley AECOsim.
• Strong understanding of BIM concepts standards (e.g. ISO 19650) and workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail for QA/QC procedures.
• Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with construction processes and industryspecific terminology.
• Certification in BIMrelated software or methodologies (e.g. Autodesk Certified Professional).
• Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of additional BIMrelated tools and technologies (e.g. laser scanning 4D/5D BIM).
