Asst. Manager Quality

The Assistant Quality Manager will support to the team and manufacturing process by facilitating and maintaining the quality programs under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager in coordination with Quality Contral Production PPC Warehouse Maintenance Procurement departments.

Technical / Functional Responsibilities
Quality Control:
Ensure tests and measurements are performed as per Quality Plan/Control Plan
Identify and record any problems related to the product process or quality system.
Initiate propose or provide solutions through designated channels.
Verify or participate in the verification of implemented solutions.
Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming products until the nonconformity has been corrected.
Maintaining and controlling calibration records for all test and inspection equipment
Prepare and Implement Quality Inspection Instructions specific to each work area and product type in the manufacturing process.
Train Quality Engineers to follow Quality Inspection Instructions.
Ensure the Availability of Quality Inspectors allround the Production shifts. Quality Assurance:
Perform Process Audit and Product Audit to ensure adherence to set standards.
To implement Statistical Tools to measure and Monitor the Process and take decision to adjust the Process Accordingly
To implement Quality management System in every process in assigned scope of work.
To Perform Measurement System Analysis to ensure measurement is capable to Identify NonConformity.
Creating and maintaining Quality documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures Work Instructions Check sheet PPAP etc.
Perform QMS (Quality Management System) audits to ensure that all procedures and instructions related to the QMS are adhered too.

Quality Planning:
To Capture & Represent the needs of the customer in internal functions related to the Quality Planning
Prepare and Implement adequate Quality planning for New Product Development and Any Engineering Change
Provide technical support for issues related to new products new customers and/or qualification of new equipment and personnel.
Provide support to Purchasing/Vendor Development for evaluation and qualification of new suppliers.
Support Production in process development equipment selection and process flow activities in the manufacturing operation.
Perform Verification and Validation for New Products and Processes.

Quality Improvement:
Visit customers and suppliers as required to investigate nonconformance issues.
Perform investigation of nonconformance reports and take Corrective actions through systematic Approach.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product processes and quality system. This includes halting the production of any product to correct quality problems.
Drive Continuous Improvement of the Processes by Process Optimization and Standardization
Track and prepare reports for internal and external quality performance metrics.

Behavioral/Other Requirements:
Reviewing the performance of subordinates & resolving the queries if any.
Inspiring the creativity throughout all department work
Ensuring that the health & safety guidelines are followed properly.
Supervising & motivating the team members
Proper housekeeping of general premises by the team
Implementation of Kaizen/ERP/ SAP other quality improvement tools in the department
Training team on Tools and Techniques of Quality system.
