Role: Splunk Engineer

Location: Charlotte NC / Phoenix AZ / Richmond VA / Addison TX (Hybrid Onsite 3 days a week in Charlotte or Phoenix (these locations are TOP PRIORITY) back up locations are Richmond VA or Addison TX)

Duration: 12 month contract (potential to convert trying to create a new team for these CEs)

Pay Rate: we got $6065/hr W2(AI) We can discuss on this

Description:

A vacancy exists for an experienced Monitoring Engineer within Global Wholesales Banking Technology & Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Deploying Splunk and Dynatrace agents Managing updates for Splunk and Dynatrace changes. Developing and Managing Splunk and Dynatrace Dashboards. The resource will contribute to the stability of environment through a mature release management process while maintaining a close partnership with the global Release Management team for ongoing process improvement.

Top Requirements:

• 35 year of solid Splunk engineering experience with DASHBOARD experience
• Dyantrace experience
• Python is a
• Previous BoA is a HUGE

Required Job Skills:

• 2 years Development or Architecture experience for multitiered business applications
• 4 years production systems Architecting and/or support role.
• Individual will need to be proficient in the support of Dynatrace Managed including the deployment instrumentation and leveraging the tool as an Application Performance Monitoring capability
• Proven experience with supporting monitoring tools such as Dynatrace Tivoli Splunk Sitescope Catchpoint Nastel Navigator/AutoPilot
• Proven experience with supporting monitoring on Cloud and Containers infrastructure.
• Knowledge of OS (Windows/Unix) based infrastructure services processing monitoring shell scripts etc.
• Proven experience in programming languages (Java and/or .NET).
• Proven experience in application/network performance and availability monitoring.
• Proven experience in NTier Architecture supporting a multitude of products (Webserver Middleware Database etc.)
• Knowledge of ITIL functions and processes.
• An excellent communicator able to network and influence across multiple levels is required of this role.
• A selfmotivated handson driven individual with strong leadership skills.
• A strategic thinker who can link business context to technical reality.

Desired Job Skills:

• Experience of migrating AppDynamics to Dynatrace.
• College degree preferred or Equivalent experience
• Previous experience in Commercial Banking enterprises and/or Payments Technologies.
• Past experience in Major Incident Management.
• Understanding of Netcool event management and/or Watson AI
