Role: Guidewire Automation QA Lead
Duration: Long Term
Location: Morristown NJ Hybrid
Job Summary:
Seasoned Automation Quality Assurance professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in QTP/UFT Selenium Automation testing. The role involves leading a QA team across onsite and offshore locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system integration and regression testing with a focus on Guidewire Policy Center applications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a QA team across onsite and offshore locations.
- Design develop and maintain automation scripts using QTP/UFT Selenium for Guidewire and Portal applications.
- Execute automated test cases assess outcomes and document test results.
- Analyze system specifications to extract test requirements and develop comprehensive Test Cases/Scripts.
- Partner with QA engineers to formulate and implement an effective automation strategy.
- Identify document and track bugs and errors communicating them to the Development teams.
- Engage with crossfunctional teams to promote Quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Act as single point of contact for all testing for the initiative and facilitate testing efforts for releases across multiple applications.
Technical Skills:
- Prior experience leading a team.
- Proficient in QTP/UFT Selenium Automation with a proven track record as an expert in the UFT Automation tool.
- Familiarity with a variety of automation frameworks including Hybrid and Keyworddriven approaches.
- Proficient in VB Scripting.
- Experience in automating interactions with thirdparty applications tools and interfaces especially those integrated with SAP and web portals.
- Prior experience with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) is highly desirable.
- Specific Quality Assurance experience with Guidewire solutions in the P&C Policy lifecycle is essential.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in computer science computer engineering electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
