We are excited to share that one of our prestigious customers is looking for an experienced Infrastructure and Technical Support Lead with strong project and facilities management background to support a major transformation and a new project. The central purpose of the role is to provide infrastructure and technical support to a specific Project. The project is focused on generating a communication capability including strategic communication information media and psychological operation.
Key responsibilities are:
- Supervising and assuring the design of the new facility for a specific Project and in time the new organization. This includes setting the requirement contractor oversight and contingency planning for an interim facility if required.
- Accountable for tracking and reporting progress for the infrastructure and technical aspects of the project.
- Establishing a performance measurement process to ensure that infrastructure and technical support is provided in accordance with agreed targets and KPIs.
- Providing advice and problemsolving on the technical support requirements for new equipment including digital tools and IT.
- Contributing to the Facilities Management support solution for the facility housing the new Organization.
- Supporting stakeholder management in identifying and building relationships with partners providing infrastructure and technical support.
- Skilled in business/disaster recovery management. Coaching and mentoring of project team members and for those recruited to staff the new organization.
Requirements
A successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant experience (supportrelated discipline in civilian sector e.g. logistics procurement asset management).
- Experience of analysing project specifications drawing and contractual terms.
- Experience in IT infrastructure support.
- Programme/Project management experience
