FILINVEST HOTEL: Timberland Highlands Resort
Timberland Highlands Resort is seeking an experienced and dedicated Captain Waiter to lead our restaurant team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Captain Waiter you will oversee the dining room service coordinate the efforts of the waitstaff and ensure that guests receive attentive and personalized service throughout their meal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff to ensure efficient and seamless service during meal periods.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival escort them to their tables and assist with seating arrangements as needed.
- Provide knowledgeable and courteous assistance to guests regarding menu items specials and beverage selections.
- Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Monitor the dining room atmosphere and guest satisfaction addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist with table setups including arranging table settings linens and tableware to meet Timberland Highlands Resorts standards of presentation.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure proper timing and flow of service throughout the meal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room including clearing and resetting tables and ensuring a tidy and inviting atmosphere.
- Handle guest inquiries feedback and special requests with tact and diplomacy striving to exceed their expectations.
- Train and mentor new waitstaff members providing guidance on service standards procedures and customer interaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management
- Previous experience as a Captain Waiter or in a similar leadership role in a fine dining restaurant or upscale hospitality establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service techniques including formal dining etiquette.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to guests.
