- Assist senior mechanics in performing scheduled maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment including but not limited to engines pumps compressors and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical problems and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities equipment status and inventory.
- Participate in emergency response drills and procedures as required.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience as a mechanic preferably in an offshore or marine environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from senior staff.
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Willingness to work in remote offshore locations and on a rotational schedule.
- Valid offshore survival and medical certifications preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance software systems.
