Salary : Up to 50k DOE

Location : Chertsey

Contract Type : Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week


We are looking for the most vibrant exciting enthusiastic candidate. We want team members to be outgoing customer focused always willing to help and always willing to own a problem to completion. They will always support the customer in every action.

As the Soft Services Manager you will be required to manage the delivery of the cleaning and groundskeeping services to a prestigious studio environment. You will manage a diverse team of day and night cleaning teams as well as groundkeepers based in the Chertsey area. The role requires previous experience in managing large cleaning teams to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness hygiene and presentation across the designated facilities.

  1. Manage and coordinate day to day cleaning operations including scheduling task allocation and supervision of cleaning teams to ensure service delivery of KPIs and SLAs.
  2. Management of day and night cleaning operations ensuring all areas are cleaned thoroughly to meet client specifications and standards.
  3. Manage groundkeepers tasks such as landscaping waste management and general upkeep of external areas.
  4. Management of HR process to include absence management holidays and performance.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  6. To ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented adhered to and communicated to all operatives.
  7. Develop and implement cleaning schedules procedures and best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  8. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and coordinate procurement as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
  9. Train and mentor cleaning and maintenance staff to enhance their skills and performance providing guidance and support as required.
  10. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements address any concerns or issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  11. Prepare and maintain relevant documentation including cleaning logs incident reports and staff records.
  12. Collaborate with other departments such as facilities management and security to coordinate integrated service delivery and achieve common objectives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrated expertise in managing cleaning operations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and cleaning standards with a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact professionally with clients staff and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work day and nights as required with availability to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.
  • Proficiency in creating Risk Assessments and COSHH documentation.
