Position Title: Sr. Programmer (IBM Tivoli/ Control M Expert)
Duration: 1 year contract to Hire
Location: Richmond VA/MD

Sr. Programmer (IBM Tivoli/ Control M Expert) requirements:

Candidate with 7 years of experience in the following:

Responsibilities & Expectations:

Analyzing and understanding the current job scheduling environment.

Collaborating with IT personnel to gather requirements for new job schedules.

Implementing and testing new job schedules ensuring proper documentation.

Providing timely responses and resolutions to jobrelated incidents.

Conducting training sessions for IT staff on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

Keeping abreast of IBM Tivoli updates and recommending upgrades when necessary.

Working knowledge of PowerBuilder C and UNIX scripting.

Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

Working knowledge of the Print Control Language (PCL)

Proficiency in Object Orient analysis and design techniques.

Working experience with Windows and Linux servers/ Environments.

Ability to perform systems analysis project planning and project management activities to design solutions to complex business problems.

Ability to independently analyze program specifications and to code and test programs according to specifications.

Ability to independently conduct system testing coordinate changes and resolve problems across multiple areas.

Demonstrated ability to analyze business and technical requirements to develop and execute test plans/strategies.

Engineer consult and upskill other IT team members on DevOps (CI/CD) and infrastructure automation automated CI/CD pipelines monitoring and operations.

Generating innovative ideas developing proofofconcepts and rapid prototypes alongside other engineers utilizing pair programming and mobbing techniques

Ability to clearly articulate and explain complex concepts and technologies to a nontechnical audience.

Strong analytical interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with engineering teams and solving complex system problems together.

Establishing proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities exist for all components of the platform.

Working experience with version control tool such as GitHub / Azure DevOps
