The incumbent serves in a key fire management position in a field fire management organization as fire management specialist (Prescribed FIre & Fuels). The employee has a program responsibility and provides professional advice and assistance to meet resources management objectives for prescribed fire fuel management smoke management and wildfire response. Incumbent may be responsible for emergency stabilization and rehabilitation (ESR) or other community assistance programs.
Requirements
Must possess a valid Oregon Drivers License and be insurable. Highschool Diploma (or equivalent) and be able to pass a medical exam and arduous fitness test. Will also need to submit and pass a criminal background check with Federa Tribal and State Law Enforcement.
