The Role:
We are seeking Trauma Registrars/Senior Registrars/Fellows Trauma to work within the trauma service.

Learn new skills and build confidence caring for complex patients with multiple injuries.

The Trauma Service cares for over 1000 injured patients each year (> 300 major trauma presentations). As a trauma registrar you will be a key member of our admitting trauma unit, working alongside medical specialists from diverse backgrounds, as well as trauma case managers and experienced allied health practitioners.

Accredited training can be offered with CICM (medicine time 6 months) and ACEM (including accreditation for TS4 trainees 6 months). Trauma service time also satisfies RACS requirements for critical care exposure. We welcome trainees from any specialty who want to learn how to provide comprehensive, roadside to rehabilitation care of trauma patients.

The Hospital:
The 600 bed Hospital is the tertiary referral centre for the state, it provides a hospital service for a catchment of 250,000.
