Responsibilities:

• Efficiently verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
  

• Navigate insurance portals and systems to obtain prior authorizations for physical therapy services.
  

• Streamline verification and authorization processes to optimize efficiency and free up front desk staff for patient interactions.
  

• Make outbound calls to patients to schedule appointments and followup on treatment plans.
  

• Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating with patients availability.
  

• Aid in obtaining necessary authorizations for scheduled appointments and treatments.
  

• Communicate effectively with patients regarding insurance coverage authorizations and appointment reminders.
  

• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems proficiently for data entry and patient information management.
  

• Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless integration of administrative tasks with patient care.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in insurance verifications and prior authorizations preferably in a physical therapy setting.
  

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  

• Proficiency in using EMR systems and other software applications experience with Prompt EMR preferred.
  

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  

• Reliable internet connection and comfortable working in a remote environment.
