IT Project Manager

In this role you will be responsible for leading Oracle ERP projects, providing functional and technical solutions. You will lead, mentor and coach a team of technical leads & Software Engineers, involved in the design, development and deployment of large, mission critical applications. We need your experience in driving innovation to ensure that systems drive value to the business and customers. Roles and Responsibilities • Leading design and implementation of Oracle ERP Solutions across Finance and Procurement business functional areas. • Provide hands on ERP experience for cross functional initiatives including integrations with other Inhouse applications and 3rd party products. • Contribute to the development of solution architecture, methodologies and compliance activities. • Facilitate the definition of project goals, tasks and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project progress. • Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments / IT teams to collaborate and design and implement robust ERP solutions and interfaces between applications. • Provide technical mentoring to the technical leads and review / contribute to the artefacts delivered, including Technical Architecture, Functional and Non-functional requirements, Interface specifications and solution design documents. • Management of multiple projects simultaneously – some of which will span across multiple business areas. • Lead platform related projects and ensure maintenance and support (24/7) of ERP platform, working closely with Infrastructure team. • Manage and drive continuous development of industry-specific accelerators (templates, best practices, automation tools) for faster delivery. • Interact regularly with business units to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery. • Ensures that project status, issues and successes are communicated to project team, stakeholders, sponsors, steering committee and documented appropriately. • Implement automation to improve monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of Production systems. • Document technical risks and issues, and actively work to avoid, mitigate, resolve risks and technical debt. • Ensure system designs are manageable, maintainable, scalable, resilient, sustainable, cost effective whilst addressing business requirements. • Collaborate with Procurement and Contracts department to ensure timely renewal of Application and technology licenses support. Together, everything is possible Qualifications About You • Bachelor Degree with minimum 8 years of experience in implementing end to end ERP solutions. • Should have a deep Oracle ERP Functional expertise (across Financials, Purchasing and Inventory) coupled with good technical expertise and strong “hands-on” experience with Oracle ERP solution architectures, design, rollout and implementation. • Hands-on experience in identifying technology opportunities, and delivering them through modern software engineering lifecycle. • Strong experience in formulating technical solutions and led the delivery. • Ability to work closely with both business, IT & Supplier subject matter experts, to manage delivery of business solutions. • Expertise in solution designing, fitment analysis, and process mapping to system applications. • Should have good understanding of ERP platform/architecture. • Comprehensive experience in providing support & conceptualization for technical solution delivery using technology driven IT solutions. • Should have good understanding of cloud solutions both SaaS and PaaS. • Overall strong Project Management capabilities and proven experience in delivering complex projects. • Certification in PMP (Project Management Professional) would be preferred. • Domain expertise on Airport Domain would be added advantage. • Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. • Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
