HSE Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Create implement and update comprehensive health safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  
• Conduct thorough risk assessments identifying potential hazards and implementing control measures.
  
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors to ensure compliance and safety awareness.
  
• Monitor project sites to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  
• Lead investigations of incidents or nearmisses to identify causes and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and generate detailed HSE reports for management and regulatory review.
  
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare staff for potential incidents.
  
• Identify opportunities for improving safety performance and implement best practices to enhance HSE standards.
  
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on safety goals.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in HSE management ideally within engineering or construction.
  
• NEBOSH IOSH or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
  
• Strong understanding of safety management principles OSHA standards and environmental regulations.
  
• Ability to conduct detailed risk assessments and incident investigations.
  
• Efficient multitasking to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks within deadlines.
  
• Clear verbal and written communication for training and coordinating with stakeholders.
  
• Capable of motivating teams and handling conflict resolution.
  
• Keen eye for identifying potential safety issues.
  
• Ability to work in dynamic and challenging environments.
