RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the designated territory (extensive cold calling)
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the company.
- Possess a deep understanding of the technical aspects of products or services.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Stay up to date with industry trends market developments and competitor activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers understanding their needs and providing solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients both presales and postsales.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the sales team technical support staff and other internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market trends customer needs and product improvements.
- Prepare and submit sales reports forecasts and other administrative documents accurately and on time.
- Maintain records of sales activities customer interactions and competitor information.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Have a Sales/Marketing tertiary qualification (diploma/degree)
- Chemistry qualification be an added advantage.
- Have 5 technical sales experience within the plastics/ Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) additives environment.
- Have a valid driver license and own vehicle.
- Be computer literate.
- Be goal orientated and results driven.
- Able to work independently in a macro management environment.
- Have good communication skills verbal and written.
