Piping Engineer

PIPING ENGINEER (UPSTREAMOPERATIONS) ROLESUMMARY As a Piping Engineer in our Upstream Operations team you will collaborate with a highly skilledgroup of professionals to execute engineering coordination andproject support tasks across international Oil and Gas projects. From tendering to project startup and operation you will lead teammembers effectively ensuring accuracy and confidence in ourdeliverables. KEYRESPONSIBILTIES Ensuretimely availability of drawings and essential projectinformation. Coordinate closely to securenecessary materials for project execution. Review mechanical documents provided by thirdpartyengineering subcontractors and vendors identifying and resolvingany design issues. Actively participate inmeetings with clients subcontractors and vendors to addressmechanical disciplinerelated issues. Preparecritical project documents including specifications mechanical datasheets material requisitions technical bid evaluations andmechanical studies. Provide valuable input andcollaborate with other disciplines to support the development oftheir deliverables such as piping drawings and plotplans/layouts. Conduct technical bidevaluations for vendor proposals and perform thorough reviews ofvendor drawings and documents. Adhere strictlyto the companys Integrated Management System (IMS) procedures toensure compliance and quality standards aremet. QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineeringwith a preference for an MSc from an international Englishspeakinguniversity. Minimum of 7 years of relevantexperience in Oil & Gas Power Plants and Industrial Projects with detailed engineering expertise in Mechanical/Pipingengineering. Strong technical proficiency in Mechanical engineering with expertise in static and rotatingequipment mechanical packages pipe stress analysis and HVACinstallations. Advanced analytical skills inbasic and detailed engineering design from project feasibilitythrough commissioning and startup are highly valued. Previous exposure to an international environment isadvantageous. Proficiency in relevant CAD and Mechanical software applicable to Oil & Gas and Power Plants projects such as AutoCAD CAESAR II PV Elite AMETank HAP andTHERMOFLOW. Indepth knowledge of internationalcodes & standards design guidelines &recommendations including ASME API NFPA and ASHRAE.Familiarity with Machinery Safety Regulations both localand international. Mobility is desirable toengage in project home offices across countries where our EPCprojects are executed. Excellent command ofthe English language both written andoral.
