Net Developer with Azure

Position: .Net Developer with Azure
Location: Saint Louis MO (Hybrid Wed Friday will be remote)
Position Type FullTime
Working Hours: MF (8 to 5)

Responsibilities:

• Spearheaded the exploration phase of product development collaborating closely with endusers to grasp their requirements and conceive inventive strategies for addressing intricate tax preparation hurdles.
• Guide the lifecycle of tax software solutions from initial concept to release prioritizing prototyping user trials and refinement.
• Execute robust software solutions utilizing Microsoft .NET Core alongside MVC fostering responsive and userfriendly application interfaces through JavaScript Bootstrap and SASS/CSS.
• Enforce secure coding principles by employing Microsoft Identity for authentication and authorization purposes.
• Develop and manage scalable and efficient database solutions using Microsoft Entity Framework and Azure SQL Database tailored specifically to the rigorous demands of the tax industry.
• Ingrain optimal methodologies in software development and testing throughout the team encompassing unit testing code assessments CI/CD implementation vulnerability management and performance enhancement.
• Guide and mentor a team of developers cultivating an environment of innovation cooperation and ongoing enhancement.
• Serve as a conduit between the development unit and stakeholders ensuring transparent communication regarding technical obstacles and project advancement.

Required Skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 46 years of experience in the field of software development is necessary.
• Proven track record in guiding product discovery phases encompassing user research prototyping and user testing.
• Proficiency in a range of technologies including Microsoft .NET Core with MVC JavaScript Bootstrap SASS/CSS Microsoft Identity and Microsoft Entity Framework.
• Extensive expertise in Azure SQL Database and cloud architectures with a particular emphasis on security and scalability.
• Demonstrated capability in mentoring developers fostering best practices in software engineering and leading through example in development and testing.
• Outstanding problemsolving abilities coupled with strong communication and project management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies alongside a dedication to continual learning and adaptation within the dynamic software industry.

Qualifications:

• Handson experience with tax and/or compliance software showcasing expertise in government integrations or regulatory compliance.
• Certifications in .NET Core Azure or relevant technologies are advantageous.
• A portfolio highlighting inventive software solutions is preferred.
• A Masters degree in a related field is a plus.
