Senior Structural Engineer

TrisianGlobal Consulting is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer who will be responsible for design and preparation of plans specifications cost estimates capital authorization applications selection of materials equipment and services construction management and equipment installation for engineering projects required to expand modify or construct new facilities. Responsible for managing project budget schedule and performing jobsite inspections to insure compliance with design is achieved. Will direct and provide engineering guidance to staff engineers technicians and others as required to accomplish the above responsibilities. This position is fulltime permanent in Hartsville SC. Relocation package is available.

What you will be doing:

• Develop designs specifications and cost estimates for various civil / structural projects that are required to meet the manufacturing needs of the facilities located throughout US Canada and Mexico. Including facility and heavy industrial equipment foundation structural design.
• Provide project and onsite construction management to ensure the requirements of the project are achieved. The position will require an indepth working knowledge of current industrial facility construction practices; and a comprehensive technical understanding of applications for structural analysis / design in steel concrete and wood.
• The position also requires highly skilled competencies in technical written communications oral presentations customer interactions teamwork collaborations and leadership.

Experience/Education/Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• PE license REQUIRED
• 15 years experience in Structural Engineering including industrial.
• Must have AUTOCAD Project / Construction Management and Design experience
• Indepth working knowledge of heavy industrial facility construction practices.
• Comprehensive technical understanding of design applications for structural analysis / design in steel concrete and wood.
  
• Highly skilled competencies in technical written communications oral presentations customer interactions teamwork collaborations and leadership.
• Must be physically active; work in confined spaces.
• Must be willing to work in a dirty hot and very humid environment (Paper Mill).
• Must be able to climb ladders and not be afraid of heights.

MustHaves

1 must have a minimum of 15 years experience

2 must have project management experience

3 must have industrial structural engineering experience

4 must sit in Hartsville or relocate to Hartsville

5 must have design experience

MUST HAVE PE License
