Travel Physical Therapist Assistant

Join our healthcare client a rehabilitation facility providing postacute care located in Antioch CA:

• 8 OR 13 week contracts
• Schedule: Sunday Thursday OR Tuesday Saturday

Job Description:

• Treat patients under PT guidance.
• Maintain daily and weekly treatment notes per PT Board requirements.
• Support department maintenance.
• Attend Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences when necessary.
• Assist in treatment area upkeep.
• Follow physician treatment plans for patients.
• Aid nursing department in Restorative Aide training.
• Communicate patient progress and plans with team.
• Participate in staff inservices training.
• Document treatment changes according to policy.
• Provide family/caregiver training for discharge.
• Report equipment issues promptly.
• Foster positive relationships with patients families and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License
