Intriguing Bilingual School Psychologist 2024-2025 Now Interviewing

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive academic social and emotional functioning utilizing standardized tools and culturally appropriate methods.
  
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing social emotional or behavioral challenges incorporating culturally sensitive approaches.
  
• Serve as a resource for school staff on issues related to multiculturalism diversity and bilingual education offering training and consultation as needed.
  
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress share insights and develop comprehensive support plans.
  
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results counseling sessions and intervention plans ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  

Requirements

• Illinois PEL certification.
  
• School Psych License in the state of Illinois.
  
• Possess Master s Degree in School Psychology.
  
• Experience working in educational settings with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
  
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with the ability to conduct assessments and provide counseling services in both languages.
