Responsibilities:
- Set up operate and maintain CNC machinery to fabricate metal components as specified by blueprints layouts and templates.
- Conduct routine inspections of machines to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize the machining process ensuring products meet precision specifications.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to identify defects and make adjustments during production cycles.
- Record and maintain accurate production data for quality assurance and reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC machining preferred.
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as a strong understanding of metal properties.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical documents and blueprints.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills to ensure accurate measurements and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in CNC operation or machining from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment especially in the metal or lead industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving highquality output.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and adaptability to new technologies and processes.
