ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Record keeping of accounting transactions;
- Monthly analysis and reporting;
- Balance sheet reconciliations;
- Calculation & submission of VAT and dividend tax;
- Monthly EMP201 submission and SARS correspondence;
- Monthly provisions salary and general journals;
- Approve daily payments on bank;
- Reconcile intergroup loan accounts;
- Weekly group cash position;
- Reconcile related parties;
- Internal & external audit process assistance;
- Compilation of working papers for financial statements;
- Annual XBRL reports;
- Annually IRP5 Submission;
- General accounting & bank administration; and
- To perform tasks accurately as set out by management.
- BCom Accounting qualification or busy studying towards BCom Accounting degree will be advantageous with 3 year relevant experience;
- Accurate and detail oriented;
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English;
- Computer literate and knowledge of the MS Office package;
- Excellent Excel skills;
- Be able to perform under pressure; and
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
