Inventory Assistant Vascular Division
Areas of Responsibility
Managing consignment stock kits short term stock warehouse levels rotation of shortdated stock demo sample and expired stock compiling of orders to suppliers minimum stock level review and ETA tracking on ordered stock.
- Management of consignment levels annexures and discrepancies;
- Management of kit ROI stock levels replenishment discrepancies and invoicing of items used;
- Ensuring the return of shortterm stock shorter than 7 days which have not been used and invoicing such items;
- Ensuring that stock levels in C6 and J6 are updated on a quarterly basis. Replenishment to C6 done on a weekly basis;
- Minimizing stock writeoffs by rotating short dated and/or slowmoving items to higher volume accounts. Allocating stock to backorders;
- Managing backorders by:
- Allocating slowmoving items to fill back orders;
- Managing ETA of ordered stock and drafting letters to customers where necessary for Product Manager s approval;
- Assisting Product Manager with weekly Need To Order report;
- Assisting with demo sample and expired stock to comply with Regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) is a minimum requirement Logistics and Supply Chain or Financial qualifications will be a definite advantage.
Experience required
- 3 years experience in Consignment Stock management would be an advantage;
- Experience in Inventory Management Control and Procedures in the Medical Device industry will be advantageous;
- Experience in ERP would be an advantage;
- Analytical skills and management experience;
- Skilled in Microsoft Office with advanced MS Excel is a requirement;
- SQL & Microsoft ODBC would be an advantage;
- Analytical thinker.

Theatre Based Sales Experience Essential Professional and effective communicator and sales person with ability to present effectively to a variety of audiences Agile at building and utilising strong relationships and networks effectively, both internally and with key external stakeholders (e.g. scrub sister; pharmacy manager; stock controller; theatre matron, KOLs), earning their trust and respect Able to manage complexity and working with multiple personnel Computer literate- MS Office programs Fluent in English and Afrikaans Clear communicator and someone who helps to find solutions; Strong interpersonal skills; Flexible and adaptable.
