Project Manager (Civil Engineering) to join our client a dynamic engineering consulting firm in the Chicago area. The firm provides innovative solutions and has a proven track record of success and a commitment to excellence. This is a hybrid opportunity with the opportunity to work in the firms offices in either Wheaton or Chicago.

Location requirements: Hybrid in the Chicago area (3 days in office 2 days remote)
Pay: $135000 $180000 per year plus benefits
Responsibilities of the Project Manager position: - Acting as a team lead responsible for supervising and guiding a team of engineers and designers to provide infrastructure solutions for projects of moderate to large size and complexity.
- Managing reviewing and assisting with the production of design plans schedules reports calculations estimates and specifications for various transportation design related projects utilizing knowledge of relevant design principles.
- Overseeing a variety of projects/assignments including but not limited to roadway and highway geometrics drainage system design traffic analysis and design barrier warrant analyses maintenance of traffic and general civil/site development
- Facilitating quality control procedure for deliverable generation archiving and distribution/transmittal.
- Performing quality control procedures at different project milestones to ensure submitted plans and documents adhere to standards specifications codes and client requirements.
Requirements
- Licensed PE
- 7 years of experience in the transportation engineering marketplace
- Working knowledge of industry safety standards guidelines and specification codes.
- Must be knowledgeable in transportation design standards including AASHTO CDOT IDOT ADA and MUTCD design guidelines.
- Project experience working with IDOT Tollway CDOT various counties and/or local municipalities
- Strong communication and excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills are required to provide effective coordination on projects as well as effective communication with clients and vendors.
- Ability to coordinate and work seamlessly with the project team including other OSEH staff clients and subconsultants.
- Must be organized selfdirected able to prioritize and multitask work in a team environment and also work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must possess strong time management and attention to detail.
