Job Title: Azure Platform Engineer

Location: McLean VA

Type: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite/2 Days Remote)

Duration: 6 months (Possible extension/conversion)

Visa: USC GC GCEAD H4EAD H1B

Experience: 8 9 years

Job Requirements:

• 8 years of experience with IaaS offerings from Azure.
• Should be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the different features or services offered on Azure.
• Must have experience with Azure Active Directory (configuration and integration).
• Handson experience with container orchestration specifically with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong preference for AKS.
• Background in development with programming experience using either Python or Java.

Technical Qualifications:

• Azure Core IaaS: Compute Storage Networking High Availability.
• Identity and Authentication: SSO/Federation AD/Azure AD ADFS etc.
• Containers and container orchestration platforms: Docker Kubernetes AKS.
• GitHub Copilot: setup administration and maintenance.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java Python).

Good to Have Qualifications:

• Data Platform and Big Data: Blob storage Vector DB.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (PowerShell Python C# Open Source).
• Azure Cloud fundamentals certification.
